Privacy / Current operation

Understand what happens to your data.

This page distinguishes the Astoul Tools portal from AllInFrame, the two-phone camera tool at allinframe.astoul.pro.

On this page

The Astoul Tools portal

The portal serves static pages. It does not currently use analytics, advertising scripts, a login, or a contact form. Its page code does not set tracking cookies or use browser storage. Hosting and content delivery infrastructure may process technical data such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser information to deliver and protect the site.

Email links open your own mail application. Sending an email shares the content and your sender address with the publisher and the mail providers involved. Include only what is necessary for your request.

AllInFrame camera access

The camera phone asks for camera permission. The remote must be approved on the camera phone after the matching confirmation code is checked. Anyone holding an invitation still needs that approval. Keep your invitation private and end the session when finished.

Camera preview and photos

AllInFrame attempts a direct WebRTC connection between the devices. Video, commands, and photo transfers are encrypted by WebRTC. If a direct connection cannot be established, a TURN server can relay that encrypted traffic.

The application has no photo upload or server photo album feature. The relay forwards encrypted media and photo traffic; it does not need to decrypt the photos to relay them. This does not mean that no network data reaches a server: connection setup and relaying still involve technical connection information.

Peers may learn network addresses through WebRTC. The signaling and relay services can observe technical metadata such as connection times, network addresses, and traffic volumes. Hosting security logs may also contain technical request information.

Files on your devices

Photos are handled in the browsers during the session. Files you download or share leave that temporary workflow and are controlled by your device, cloud backup settings, or sharing destination. Closing a tab does not delete a photo you saved elsewhere.

AllInFrame uses session storage in each browser tab to keep the invitation and pairing credentials needed for that session, including after a page reload. These are connection credentials, not tracking identifiers or saved photos. Sessions expire after 20 minutes. Use Finish to end a session and clear the pairing state on that device.

The latest photo is held temporarily in the browser. Save it before choosing Take another photo, ending the session, or closing the page. Keep both browser pages open and the screens awake while taking photos.

Advertising and affiliate links

No advertising SDK or affiliate shopping links are active on this portal at present. If they are introduced, this page will be updated to describe the services used, data involved, and available privacy choices. Any non-essential advertising or analytics technology that requires consent will need an appropriate consent mechanism before activation.

Links to LinkedIn and Mastering Coffee take you to separate websites with their own policies.
